German American Bancorp, Inc. is a bank holding company with assets of more than $3.9 billion (as of December 31, 2018). Its banking subsidiary unit, German American Bank, operates 65 banking offices in 20 contiguous southern Indiana counties and four counties in Kentucky. German American Bancorp, Inc. also owns an investment brokerage subsidiary (German American Investment Services, Inc.) and a full line property and casualty insurance agency (German American Insurance, Inc.).

First Security, Inc. was a bank holding company, headquartered in Kentucky, that had one subsidiary unit, First Security Bank of Owensboro, which operated a total of twelve branches, primarily in the cities (and surrounding regions) of Owensboro, Lexington, Bowling Green, and Franklin.
